TOUR COLCA CANYON - AREQUIPA 1 DAY
At 165 km from the city of Arequipa is located the Colca canyon, is a huge valley with an extension of 100 km. long and occupies only one sector of the Colca river basin, which lies at a depth of 3140 meters above sea level with natural landscapes and countless terraces that date back to the pre-Columbian period, you will be able to appreciate beautiful landscapes and wildlife such as the condor, vizcachas, alpacas, vicuñas, etc.
Itinerary
At 3:00 a.m. our local guide will be picking you up from your hotel and head to Chivay, we arrive at 6:00 am. to Chivay, where we the breakfast. About 6:30 am. we will leave to the Cruz del Condor and we will visit the beautiful terraces and the different natural viewpoints, arriving to The Cruz del Condor for watching the Andean Condor flight and the amazing Colca Canyon in all its magnitude.
Return to Chivay, visiting Maca and Yanque town (where is possible to observe a nice colonial church from XVI century, next to this town is possible to see people dedicated to work the terraces. Arrival to Chivay, visit to the hot springs La Calera, where you can enjoy the thermos medicinal pools. After relaxing return to Chivay for having lunch, after we will visit the local market and the Main Square, at 2:00 pm. back to Arequipa, along the way we will visit the highest point between the Colca Canyon and Arequipa: Patapampa, for see the volcanic mountain range. Then we will visit Pampa Cañahuas where we will be able to see: Llamas, alpacas and vicuñas. Arrival to Arequipa at 6:30 p.m. and transfer to the hotel.

| 1:00 p.m. | Lunch In Chivay, After Visit The Craft Markets And The Main Square |
| 2:30 p.m. | Return To The City Of Arequipa, Along The Way We Will Stop To Visit To Some Interesting Places On The Road. |
| 6:30 p.m. | Arrival To The City Of Arequipa And Transfer To The Hotel. |
